We have been with Marple Vets for years, and I cannot rate the veterinary staff more highly. They are kind, caring, and skilled at what they do. The low score reflects rising prices and the encouragement to purchase additional services. Be cautious of extra charges hidden in your bill that aren't listed on the website, such as an insurance claims fee, even when you paid the bill directly. Unfortunately, Marple Vets is no longer an independent veterinary practice and is now owned by the IVC EVIDENSIA Group, which I believe has led to a decline in service quality. I called Marple Vets at night and was directed to call Vets Now the out-of-hours service also owned by IVC Evidensia Group. My dog's condition was dealt with as one case by Vets Now & Marple Vets. I was charged £39.95 by VN & £18.95 by Marple Vets for an Insurance administration charge (Total £58.90) I paid all the bills directly & then claimed the money back from my insurance company. £58.90 is ridiculous for answering and sending to my insurance company basic information. I believe any pet owner in our situation would find this size of payment that is not covered by insurance is excessive.

I just have to say how fantastic this vet clinic is! The nurses from the reception team are super friendly and always make me feel welcome. Dr. Lenka and Grace are the best—they really care about my cats and take the time to explain everything. I couldn't ask for a better team to look after Frida and Kropka! Thank you so much ❤️

Everyone, Receptionists, Vet Nurses and the Vets are clearly kind and compassionate people. True Professionals. They always take time to listen. They explain options clearly and never hurry you if you need advice. I highly recommend this great practice.

Positive - always quick to see you. We've always managed to get in on the same day. Negative - expensive, but then perhaps that's the same for all vets? Consultation is circa £50 and then whatever they prescribe on top of that.

Just wanted to give a shoutout to our lovely vets – they’re always so friendly and make you feel completely confident in the care they give to your pets. It’s such a relief knowing your furry friend is in good hands! Plus, their monthly payment schemes are brilliant – makes staying on top of pet health care so much more affordable.

All the staff at Marple Vets have been absolutely fantastic, again! This time in an emergency when my dog sliced her leg and through muscle and tendon. They were quick to act meaning Maggie will hopefully make a full recovery. Always caring and doing what is in the best interest of Maggie

Can't praise the staff enough. From the welcome of the receptionists to the consultation. I have a stressed dog who needed professional handing whilst having bloods and a check up. The staff were calm, reassuring and knew how to handle him to reduce his anxiety as much as possible. I have nothing but praise and admiration for all the staff (especially the poor nurse and vet that I saw!). I have been using this practice for many, many years and have always found them experts in their field. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. Thank you
